You can easily access the cellvalues of the corrupted file. Just set up a new file and link the needed cell area to the referring area in the corrupted file. Example for A1: =CorruptedFile.xls!A1 Then copy this formula over the whole new sheet. Last, copy the area and insert it as values into a new sheet That saves you at least the values, however, you will have to format it again and enter formulas. Best Regards Torsten
